Описание к видео Valco National Harmonica tube amp Pentatonic Guitars, Daddy Long Legs, Brooklyn, NY

One of the best sounding Harmonica amps we've ever heard. 1940's National lap steel amp in great operating condition. EXTREMELY RARE - no other examples appear to exist. After extensive research, this amp is a made in Chicago, USA by Valco, National branded amp based on the wooden badge emblem which is seen elsewhere by National. I think this is one of the earliest surviving examples of a National Amp. Creamy 8 inch Alnico speaker. Fully serviced by NYC's most reliable amp repair shop Pentatonic Guitars Inc. in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. New 3 Prong cord added to replace old 2 prong unsafe cord. Raytheon 6C8G output tube. 6C5 preamp tube. RCA 80 full wave rectifier tube. Ossilator tube in stove pipe cover with cord attached on top (weird) Installed biasing circuit. Some small pieces missing from large wooden speaker grill logo, could be restored, or left as is. Some normal wear and tear on tolex. Cabinet is wooden as seen in pics showing corner(s). This little beast has it's own sound, the louder you turn up the better it sounds, it get's pretty darn loud, almost no noise or hiss, just typical of any tube amp. Chicken head knob on top of chassis. Two inputs. Original suitcase handle. Way more mojo than any champ, this thing belongs in a nice studio or loving home. Anybody know exactly what model this thing is, please let me know, could not find anything exactly like it on line, but definitely Valco and OLD definitely 1940's or very late 1930's (see below).

From the web: "The Valco company has its roots in the National String Instrument Corporation, which was founded in 1927. ...
The company began producing electric instruments in the 1930s that included electric guitars, lap steels, mandolins and amplifiers. These pre-war electric instruments are fairly rare today, though the lap steels pop up with some regularity."
