Wuthering Waves - [Demo] Lingyang + Zhezhi Cycle [Hazard- Resonant 3] (Severely Underleveled Team)

Yeah, this is a terribly underinvested team, so you can't expect a 3* clear with these units here. Maybe if they were built more, maybe. But not as these units are currently -- I mean... I'm missing half my DPS here, and the main DPS isn't fully invested in... what do you expect?

Basically, Zhezhi does very well as a Lingyang support. Not too sure how well since I am missing investment in Zhezhi, but ideally we should be able to change some echos to make Lingyang deal a bit more damage with his cycle

Do I recommend Lingyang? Not really. He's fun, and turns out to be a lot more straightforward than expected, but... there are some pretty blatantly strong units out there that clear mobs and focus single targets very well, so those should typically be your focus first. Then again... if you can't find the character you build to be fun, you're probably not going to stick around in the game for long

If you want to know what I am doing here with Lingyang... basically, he switches into a different mode of attack from his usual basics when he maxes out his bar at the bottom of the screen. When that is active, you want to spam basic attacks and throw in a resonance skill here and there (especially if you somehow manage Resonance Chain 6). [You want to throw in resonance skill after every basic with one of the upgrade skills by default since it gives a Resonance damage bonus for 3 second seconds after a basic or something like that - so, yes, I messed up in the video]*. If you hit the max on the bar using Resonance Liberation (Ulti), the duration of this mode lasts longer. Intro Skill fills the bar about 40%, Resonance Liberation fills it about 60% -- so it is better to switch to another unit that deals decent DPS in the meantime rather than stay in slow mode and painfully try to recharge by hitting a few basics then Resonance Skill (you need to hit the enhanced Resonance Skill twice) while getting Ulti back up

Zhezhi has off-field attacks using Ulti, so you want to build that up quickly. Outro skill increase Glacio damage, so that is used to buff Lingyang. Missing skill that I didn't use also gives Outro skill an ability to regen 15 Resonance Energy. So ideally I'd be able to switch Lingyang off of his Energy Recharge Echo and onto a Glacio Damage one instead (or I'd need to roll an Echo with Energy Recharge substat). Reasonably decent synergy with Lingyang


I'm waiting for a better weapon for Lingyang. Hoping the new Gauntlet will have what I need...
