Passengers “Lucky to be ALIVE” Plane CRASH near Chattanooga

Two people are alive with minor injuries after a plane crashed in Chattanooga on Tuesday evening, Nov. 19. The single-engine plane crashed on the side of Shallowford Road during rush hour, according to a Chattanooga Fire Department press release.

No drivers on the road were injured when the plane came down less than a mile away from the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.

The fire department called the passengers "very lucky to be alive." Both individuals were transported to a local hospital following the crash.
