Actual Description. In this video I build a water heater to install on my current waste oil burner.

Cost of project as of Nov 30 2024.

Two 20 pound propane tanks "Free" (already had out of date tank)
40 pound propane tank. $25 used (partly full - heated my garage for 2 full days)
Angle iron for legs and coil brackets - "Free" from other project
Tubing for air inlet - "Free" from other project
Forge fan from Amazon - $46
Strainer to strain oil. Amazon - $25
5/16 brake line for fuel feed tube. Amazon - $32
Peristaltic pimp. Amazon - $37
50 foot x 1/2 inch stainless wort chiller coil. Amazon - $124
Water to air heat exchanger. Available from Vevor Will post link in upcoming video - $211

Grand total - $995. Yes, you could get some of this stuff cheaper, and I did buy a pipe and antifreeze that I didn't use... I also didn't include a few things like the pump, that would have been $100 and a $20 tote... This heater will have to burn a LOT of oil to pay for itself, so lets hope I can keep it going.
