Cardinal Buses Enviro 400 Trident ZF ft. Kickdown, Downshifts & Top Speed on Stadium Shuttles

Joining the lineup of Tridents from Cardinal Buses we have Ex-Metroline TE833 which spent the entirety of it's time at TfL operating out of Edgware, Cricklewood, and lastly Holloway! Here just like the previous video on TA717 this bus was serving the Reading FC Shuttles, where the light-run is via some A-roads allowing for some proper movement! 💪🏾 For the first time in a while we have a ZF E400 Trident that's not being pumped 😂... but there are some lovely downshifts, one of which you are greeted by at the beginning, then a few more later... as well as a couple of Double Kickdowns and audible attempts to force the bus to downshift a few times. The cooling fan does also come on a couple of times, which also sounded nice, as compared to recent E400 Tridents that I've recorded. All in all, it sounded beautiful and is another healthy example from Cardinal's fleet, as expected! On the long stretches this bus would top out at 53mph, and shifting-wise it does over-rev just a tiny bit when downshifting from 5th - 4th at full throttle.
