2009-2013 Corolla: Transmission Fluid Flush

Описание к видео 2009-2013 Corolla: Transmission Fluid Flush

How to flush the transmission fluid on a Toyota Corolla with automatic transmission. This method utilizes the automatic transmission's internal pump to cycle out all spent fluid from the system while new fluid is added through the dipstick fill tube. This ensures a complete replenishment of the fluid in the transmission, oil cooler, and auxiliary circuits.

A note on getting the right cooler line: Disconnect one of the the transmission oil cooler lines and have someone momentarily start the vehicle. If fluid is coming out of the metal return line from the cooler, you have correctly identified the right hose for the procedure. If fluid is coming out of the rubber line from the transmission to the cooler, reconnect it and try again with the other line. Once you have the cooler return line correctly identified, you can place a drain hose on that line to a waste bucket and begin the flush procedure.
