A Stronger WE: Building Stronger Support, Alignment, and Impact for Systems of Care

Описание к видео A Stronger WE: Building Stronger Support, Alignment, and Impact for Systems of Care

Today, we are working harder than ever to live into the power and possibility of using the System of Care (SOC) approach to transform the lives of children and families in our communities. We are being called to solve an increasingly complex set of challenges that cannot be solved without strengthening fragile community partnerships, realigning our partners’ goals, and smart stewarding of resources that must stretch to meet an ever increasing need for mental health services and supports. Even when our systems of care collaboratively focus on solutions and expanding opportunities for diverse populations, our need to simultaneously build and share power for this work is often unintentionally under-resourced, overlooked, or deprioritized.

Here's the opportunity: there’s never been a more important moment to gain the skills, tools, and tips to help us grow into better managers and stronger leaders. We need to tell a bigger, better story to ensure our systems of care can deliver for children and families facing unprecedented mental health challenges. The purpose of this session is to give you the opportunity to try on some of those skill sets, tools, and tips that you need to foster collaborative power-sharing relationships that elevate your work in systems of care.

Session Learning Objectives:
Participants in this session will be prepared to build strategies and take actions that:
Position children and families as heroes and decision-makers in your work by elevating their aspirations for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Tell visionary, future-oriented stories on how our systems can transform to enhance the well-being of children, families, and communities, helping them to thrive.
Foster collective ownership in solutions that celebrate child and family successes.
Build a roadmap for justice that offers transparency, builds trust, and centers equity.
