In this tutorial I'll show you how you can create a UILabel with Tappable Hashtags and Mentions in Swift 4.2 and Xcode 10.

UILabels are not that versatile. And in todays modern applications you need a way to make certain words be tappable. Furthermore you need them to behave as hashtags or mentions.

In this video I'll show you how easy it is to add hashtags and mentions into your UILabel with the help of an awesome repository.

We are going to build out the project from scratch so prepare your Xcode 10 and let's get into the code! Let's add a hashtag to an UILabel in Swift.

I am using ActiveLabel from GitHub. You will learn how to detect and make mentions/hashtags clickable in UILabel.
