Rob Plays "Rescue on Fractalus" (C64)

A sit down & play (with some commentary) of the C64 conversion of "Rescue on Fractalus" - originally developed by Lucasfilm Games, and published by Activision in 1985.

I never played this on the real computer back in the day - in fact, the first time I heard about it was in a magazine article which called it a curiosity piece, simply as a result of the game requiring just a bit too much of the trusty C64.

Which I can totally agree with, being that it was designed for Atari's 8-bit line (which had much more CPU power by comparison).

Still, it's an amazing game for a number of reason... and probably one of the scariest for certain reasons...
