Ribfest Port Moody is the BEST BBQ Festival in the City

Summertime in Metro Vancouver is one of the best places to be and we had to stop at the ribfest in Port Moody this year!
Admission is by donation so we made a quick five dollar donation to get in. There are loads of vendors and many options with award-winning ribs across Canada and the states! We decided to give Grizzly Barbecue a try! The line was a bit long but it was so worth it! We got the quarter ribs with coleslaw on the side.
There is plenty of incredible beer served and seating to enjoy your meal.
Then we craved some buttered corn on the cob so we picked some up to enjoy on a bench across from the lake.
After a beautiful walk on the pier, enjoying the sunset, we had to get our sweet fix by going to Rocky Mountain ice cream just a quick three minute walk away. They have a loads of fun flavours to try. We tried the lemon cookie and peanut butter and it was incredible!
This was one of our favourite date nights because we really got to cool down and enjoy one of our local spots. Check it out if you get the chance!
