The story of the 1973 European Cup Winners' Cup Final - Leeds United versus AC Milan - SALONIKA 73 is a film about corruption and bribery, as told by the fans who were there and Leeds legend, Paul Reaney, who captained the side that night in Salonika, Greece.

Film Correction: Contrary to what is stated in the film, and been pointed out by some their fans, AC Milan's last significant silverware prior to 1973 was NOT the Cup Winners' Cup in 1968, but the European Cup in 1969. Though my initial reaction to these complaints has been to enquire, 'But did they? Really?'; I stand corrected and accept this so-called factual error, although AC Milan's supporters seem less inclined to accept the factual error that states their team won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1973.
