The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, a Luxury hotel under the Marriott group

Описание к видео The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, a Luxury hotel under the Marriott group

The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is in a fantastic location.

The hotel is a short walk away from Green Park tube (London Underground) station and right opposite Green Park, a royal park! There are two entrances. If you arriving by car with luggage, then I would suggest arriving via Brick Street, otherwise, the Piccadilly entrance is fine.

The hotel has 3 restaurants, an Executive Club Lounge, 24 hour fitness centre and in-room dining.

Here are links to the restaurants and menus:

Mercante - The menu offers a fresh take on the classic Italian food market

The Palm Court - The Palm Court is just one of the original features of the hotel from when it was completed in 1927. You can indulge in Afternoon Tea with intricate pastries and delectable savoury treats inspired by the 1920s, with a contemporary twist. Open all day for a light breakfast, lunch and dinner,

Smith & Whistle - At Smith & Whistle enjoy a masterful martini or a cocktail! They have also sourced some of Britain's finest draft and bottled craft beers and smuggled in the finest English wines - paired perfectly with loaded fries or classic fish and chips!

At the time of my stay I was an Ambassador Elite member. This gives me automatic entry to the Executive Lounge! The Executive Club Lounge serves breakfast between 7am – 11am. However, if you do not have access to the Club Lounge but have breakfast included in your room rate then you will enjoy breakfast at Mercante which is served between 6:30 am – 11am. If breakfast is not included and you wish to pay for breakfast then the current cost is £29. You can also choose to eat breakfast at some of the other food outlets but be sure to check the opening times based on the season and day of the week.

I booked a Superior Room. The room size varies between 24sqm to 32sqm or 258sqft to 344sqft. I was fortunate to have the larger version! I had also received a welcome amenity which was a half-bottle of red wine (37.5cl) and some fruit.

I found the bedding, pillows and bed to be comfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice which also included a window and both a bath tub and shower!

The staff were all fantastic! In particular, Anthony (a bellman) was very friendly and chatty and always wanted to help and have a chat! Greg and Mantas in the Executive Club Lounge were amazing! Mantas finished in the afternoon on the day I checked in, but before he left for the day he arranged with the chefs to make sure I had a vegetarian option in the evening canapes service. Greg looked after me in the evening canapes and was amazing. He brought over the vegetarian food along with drinks and asked me on several occasions if I needed anything else. Thanks to his amazing service I really enjoyed the evening and the same can be said during breakfast where Mantas did the same and was equally amazing!

If you plan to visit London or are a local looking for a hotel stay, and whether you are a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member or not, I would recommend trying this hotel! Although I did not stay in the smaller room, I would expect it to still be comfortable and with the hotel having multiple restaurants on site, a 24 hour fitness centre, fantastic service and an Executive Club Lounge, not to forget that it is in a fantastic location, I think it is well worth a try!
