UP and CN Power Compilation with 44 Engines at West Chicago, Illinois on 6-2-2013

Описание к видео UP and CN Power Compilation with 44 Engines at West Chicago, Illinois on 6-2-2013

44 locos in less than five minutes as the Canadian National and Union Pacific rolled past the camera for about 5 hours. 44 and a 1/2 if you count the blocked Metra engine. I think I've got that count correct. You'll see two engines twice as the "Will County" coal train shoves back westbound through the West Chicago yard to line up on the CN main tracks for a later run south.

The CN line (Leithton sub) was dead for about three hours. Very strange.

Watch for some of the the world's shortest coal trains courtesy of digital editing. And the strange case of the disappearing MoW guys. Abducted by aliens perhaps?

And what's different from my previous compilation videos from here? No horns now on the CN. New signs have just been posted... "No Train Horn." So except when there are MoW personnel around it was a quiet zone. Dang!
