Ranni's Age of Stars Should be Elden Ring's Canon Ending

Описание к видео Ranni's Age of Stars Should be Elden Ring's Canon Ending

In Elden Ring, more players have unlocked Ranni’s ending in Elden Ring than the game’s default ending. Since you end up marrying Ranni, it’s not hard to see why her Age of Stars ending is so popular among the maidenless Tarnished.

Like many other players, Ranni's ending was the first ending I unlocked and for a while, I thought it was the best (and not just because I'm maidenless). But when I started to delve deeper into the lore and examined her ending in more detail, I uncovered a lot of flaws. While those flaws prevent her ending from being the best in my book, because they’re unresolved, they leave open all kinds of narrative possibilities ripe for exploring in a sequel.

So in this video, I'll make the case for why out of the six endings in Elden Ring, Ranni's ending should be considered the canon ending. Plus, I love the "celestial fantasy" elements FromSoft came up with for Elden Ring and it would be amazing to see even more of their Eldritch abominations. Oh and spoilers.

It's also worth mentioning that Ranni's ending has an infamously botched translation that makes it sound much more sinister in English than in Japanese.
