About the Speakers:
LT Dustin Picard is a NOAA Corps Field Recruiting Officer with the OMAO Commissioned Personnel Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master of Science in Marine Resource and Management from Texas A&M University. He graduated from Basic Officer Training Class 122 in 2013 and has since served in a variety of billets. He is very excited for the opportunity to mentor applicants and positively impact the future of the NOAA Corps.

LT Conor Maginn has proudly served in the NOAA Corps for 8 years and is currently a pilot for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC). He specializes in operating "low and slow" aboard the diverse Twin Otter aircraft. He will present on how NOAA Corps Officers assist in the many operations of AOC, from 600 feet over the ocean conducting marine mammal observations for NMFS to 45,000 ft above a storm conducting hurricane surveillance missions for NWS.
