For his dream, world-class project, Chandrababu Naidu had in 2015 pooled in 33,500 acre fertile land from over 24,000 small farmers and roped in top infra majors in the country while also engaging global firms including those from Singapore. However, his successor Jagan Mohan Reddy demoted Amaravati to just a legislative seat while announcing Vizag as the executive and Kurnool as the judiciary capitals.
