It is a government body that regulates the private’s security industries and security personnel in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umal Quin, Fujairah, and Ajman. PSBD security interview questions & answers
1.Tell me about yourself?
Answer: Sir I am Raj from Rajasthan of India, I have passed the intermediate and have 5 years of experience in the Indian Army, and 3 years of experience as a security guard at the Taj hotel
2.. What did you do in your previous job?
Answer: When I was in the army, I had to do post duty, patrol, sentry, etc. As a TAJ hotel security guard, I have performed several duties, including reception security, guest escort, area dominance patrol, and lost & found handling.
3.. In case of fire what you are going to do?
Answer: First thing I’m going to set off the alarm and try to fight the fire by using a fire extinguisher if controllable. If the fire cannot control I need to call the fire department and inform my officer in charge as well as a control room.
4. How many types of fire are there?
Class A, (Ordinary combustible): paper, wood, plastic
2. Class B, (Flammable liquid): petrol, diesel, kerosene, paint, thinner
3. Class C, (Flammable gases): LPG & CNG
4. Class D, Electrical
5. Class E, Metal fire ( Aluminum, Magnesium, and Potassium, etc)
5. As the mall guard how would you handle the angry customer?
Answer: In the mall, the security guard often faces frustrated customers who are upset with the security guard, too. In this situation, I would try to figure out the cause of a customer’s irritation. If they are upset with the company policy then I would try to explain the importance of the policy for them and other people.
If the customer is upset with the products and services then I would contact the department which can solve the problem
6. What will you do if the police come to your place?
Answer: I would obtain these things from the officer.
-Officer name
-number of the officer
-File number
When the officer leaves I would write the report and inform the control room and supervisor.
7. You saw the people are fighting near your duty place ?
Answer: I would analyze the situation and trying to determine what is happening. If it is just a quarrel I would just monitor the situation but something gang-related then call the police and inform to control room for backup
8.What are the mistakes you’ve made in your previous job?
Answer: Everyone do mistakes but these should be overcome ourselves. One of the mistakes I did in my previous job is allowing the visitor without informing the person they want to visit because I could not reach out to him through telephone.
The visitor was not appointed to visit the employee although he told me that he had got the appointment. Since then I started never allowed any visitors without informing the employee
9. How would you handle an employee who does not comply with company rules?
Answer: I would notify the employer not to break the rule, if they repeat it I would report to the department and to the concerned person

Answer: Sir, as I know that your company is a leading security company in the UAE, I believe that your company can be a big platform to showcase my talent and grow my career
