Mixed Manifests Meet at Walker Cajon Pass CA Warbonnet Day!

SO MANY WARBONNETS THAT DAY!!! Here is more of, a wee bit more, more from another amazing day out with my #tracksidebrothers ‪@cajonpassrailroadfans‬ and ‪@SilenceSeven‬!

We went to a new spot as well as a few "oldies but goodies" on this trip. I think we snagged a grand total of at least 25 trains from about 7am to 5pm on Sunday 11/10/2024!
While Keith had his drone up, these two amazingly colorful racks rolled by! 🤯 But just before they arrived, we were graced by a fully loaded tanker train lumbering its way down through the pass. I love to watch trains here at Walker, the way you see them snaking their way through the canyon truly makes me feel like I am standing inside of a giant model train layout! 😁
Over the course of the next few days/weeks I will be uploading the awesome footage of these amazing machines that are truly The Kings of Cajon Pass Please sit back relax and enjoy them traversing this great canyon as they have since the 1800s. Hauling everything from people to packages on some these vary rails!
