Note: at 17:56, countersunk screws are measured from the end of the screw because they're 'sunk' into the body of whatever they're fastening. Thus, their total length is measured to where the thread would have ended if the screw head was above the fastened surface. Look at the manual and you'll see the end of the countersunk screw lines up with the threaded part of the button-head screw above it. I am quite sure I already knew this but I guess we'll add that to the growing list of things I've learned and then forgotten - just another day round these parts :)
