MASTERING IN STUDIO ONE 5 - Tricomp Multiband Plugin Tutorial

Welcome to this weeks video in which we start a new mini series called Mastering in Studio One 5.

Studio One 5 has recently been released and as it's my DAW of choice for Mastering I thought i'd show you how I use the stock plugins to really enhance the songs and create great sounding Masters.

The main stock plugins in Studio One have had a major overhaul and i've really fallen in love with the Tricomp Multiband Plugin. In this video I show you how you can use Multiband Dynamics to control an unruly Low End and provide clarity and definition to the bass, add energy and excitement to the high end, and add a subtle compress to the overall track to add excitement and character.

I hope you get something out of this video and it helps you to re-think Multiband Dynamics to get the most out of your songs.
