Demi Lee is op Worcester gebore, maar haar gesin het later na Durbanville getrek. Sy het op negejarige ouderdom begin sing en op 19 besluit om voltyds te sing. Sy het onder meer vir ’n paar maande by The Barnyard Theatre aangesluit en is in 2013 benoem vir ’n Ghoema vir beste popalbum vir Net ’n Mens. Sy het in 2014 aan Idols X deelgeneem, waar sy die sewende plek behaal het. Haar enkelsnit "Liefdes Wen Resep" is in 2015 uitgereik en het binne die eerste dag die no. 1-plek op die Afrikaanse iTunes behaal. In 2018 het Demi Lee aan Die Kontrak deelgeneem. Dit was ’n realiteitsangkompetisie waarop agt aspirantmusieksterre ná ’n landwye aanlynveldtog uit bykans 2 000 sangers gekies is. Hulle is deur mentors gebrei vir die uitklopkonserte wat hulle week na week moes aandurf. Demi Lee en Ivan Roux was die laaste twee deelnemers wat oorgebly het en Demi Lee het eindelik gewen.

Demi Lee Moore is a South African singer, songwriter and musician. Starting her music career at the age of 9, she sang throughout her school years and was a regular lead in school musicals and pantomimes. After school she decided to become an air hostess, but as fate would have it her love for music came first and she decided to start singing full time by the age of 19. With 11 years vocal training, Demi is a beautiful, vibrant, versatile and fun performer, singing anything from English to Afrikaans. She is a solo artist that performs with a full 4-piece band and / or guitarist, bringing a feel-good vibe to every show.
