Joining the AHL team from college, Halliday brings a playmaking skill set with him, putting up an assist per game in the playoffs. Able to use his body to ward off defenders, he also has an acumen for finding his man and getting him the puck.

The whole play on the PP seemed to go through Halliday here. Keeping the puck away from the defenders, and getting himself in position to take the return, he eventually finds the lane he needs for the shot and the goal.

Taking the puck down below the goal line, he sees his teammate going towards goal and feeds a perfect backhand pass between two defenders.
Charging into the offensive zone, Halliday gets the puck and draws in two players before turning to feed a nice pass to a wide open teammate in front.
