10 ArtFight Tips from a Veteran

U wanna go, bro? https://artfight.net/~sled

yayy my once-a-year upload has come! this time we're talking about Art Fight (Artfight ? ArtFight ? What is the official way to say it ?)... anyway, Art Fight is an art trading game where you are split into teams with ~100,000+ people, 'attack' people with art, and defend your team's honor (and points)! There is a winner in the end, but it's not really competitive, it's just a big, fun art trading event. With the team reveal coming soon, I wanted to talk tips both for noobs and for veterans like myself. Man, I hope the teams are Tropic vs. Arctic as many people have theorized. If so-- Team Tropic all the way, baby!!!!

ok time to list the tips, anyone still here?
1. Have fun!
2. Character Reference Sheets - don't need to be fancy. don't expend too much effort on them, especially if you haven't started yet!
3. Old Art is fine to show, don't be afraid of old art!
4. Stretch your Wrists (or suffer)
5. Experiment with your Art!!!
6. Try to thank everyone who draws your guys
7. Keep character biographies / descriptions short, some of us struggle to read!
8. Keep lore short, but definitely have it there. A TLDR (too long didn't read) would work if you want to keep it super super short. if you specifically want lore art you should say that so people know if there's required reading.
9. Use Character Reference Sheets and the thumbnail icons to show off your beautiful guy's personality. (this will help people figure out how to draw your guy)
10. Do artfight for you, not for others. I think this mindset will make you prone to burning out quickly.
Did I really spend half of my video telling you to keep your descriptions short only to write this word soup in my video description? YES! I DID THAT!
