Addressing a public meeting in Balurghat, West Bengal, PM Modi said, “Ever since Modi's guarantee card has come, the people of TMC are in a state of double confusion. They think that all this time, these people were preventing Modi's schemes from reaching the people of Bengal. They were not allowing PM Housing to reach the poor. They were not letting the Jal Jeevan Mission reach the villages. The money for the Center's MNREGA was being sent, but they used to stop it. Now they feel that Modi has guaranteed to reach every scheme to every poor person. If the poor of Bengal benefit from Modi's work, if the poor progress, then TMC's shop will be closed. Therefore, these people have come down to spreading lies and rumors.”
