Learning Spanish: Shops and businesses (beginners).

In this video, I explain how the main shops and businesses are called in Spanish, from groceries and catering to clothes, complements or other products, and basic services.

We are also going to review the names of people that are working in these places.

Most of the shops names in Spanish are formed from the name of the main product they sell (in some cases removing the final vowel and in other adding some letters) plus the ending '-ería'. Notice that all these names are always feminine.

Also, other commercial businesses are called in Spanish “tienda de” + the name of the main product they sell and a third group have special names.
