Is it too late to plant spring bulbs when it's past autumn and it's already winter? I have bulbs of anemones, daffodils, and tulips waiting to be sown in containers. I have no experience, especially with using pots, but I'm still planting them anyway.

We have cold rainy days in winter here in New Zealand, so the plants are suffering from too much water. It's easier with container gardening because I can move pots around and chase the sun.
