IC Colony is one of the most famous places in Mumbai for Christmas celebrations, and every year it feels like a festive wonderland. During Christmas, the entire area comes alive with bright lights, joyful crowds, live stalls, fun fairs, and exciting performances. People from all over Mumbai visit to experience this magical atmosphere.
One of the highlights of IC Colony is the massive artificial Church setup, created with such detail that it feels real. The beautifully crafted cribs of Jesus Christ, glowing decorations, and fully lit lanes make the celebration truly special. Each lane is designed thoughtfully so visitors can walk around, click selfies, and soak in the festive vibes.
We also explored other nearby lanes where residents decorate their homes with stunning lights and cribs specially for Christmas. The warmth, creativity, and effort put into every decoration truly show the spirit of the season.
From Borivali, we then moved to Malad Orlem – Mithi Chowki, where a huge Christmas tree filled with colorful decorations steals the spotlight. The area was packed with people enjoying the celebrations, music, and joyful atmosphere. We also visited the church to see the beautifully decorated crib and the Mother Mary statue, adorned with flowers and lights, creating a peaceful and divine experience.
One of the most memorable moments was walking through the Catholic residential lanes of Orlem, where houses were decorated with lanterns, lights, and Christmas décor. We even came across a beautifully decorated bungalow that gave the perfect Christmas vibe and left us amazed.
