Knell Prime. Oh how it has evolved, buffed, polished itself over the years. If you saw the original Knell, you wouldn't even recognize it. It used to not give any status chance. It used to be semi-auto. It used to do less damage. It used to be...uglier. And weapon arcanes didn't exist. Galvanized mods didn't exist. Oh it was a very different world back then.

Today, Knell Prime sits as probably one of the absolute best single-target secondaries in the entire game. Emphasis on single-target, because this limits it's potential, but if there was a pistol that could blur the gap to AoE, this would be it. You can literally use this weapon as an Ignis Wraith. Deadhead gets rid of almost all the kick, and you can just spray it head level. The scope bonuses carry over even on hip-fire, and you can also build Death Knell stacks while hip-firing.

Galvanized mods, gun rebalance and gun arcanes make it more than strong enough to shred everything on Steel Path. And because of the status rework...that flat 60% status chance on max Death Knell stacks is now huge on Knell. It has only 10% base status, which is already twice the 5% the regular had. Have you ever tried an Electric Knell? Let me show you... And also, you want infinite scaling Knell? We can do that; we can make it slash, even if it isn't slash-weighted. Pay attention...
