Hacking a Ryobi Supercharger into a Powerstation

I've developed several powerstations using Ryobi batteries. Viewers have commented that they would love to make one, but don't have access to a 3D printer. Home Depot had a Ryobi sale where if you purchased two 4Ah batteries, you got a free tool. I already had a supercharger, so I got a second one "free" to take apart for this project. The idea was to build a powerstation using "off the shelf" parts.

Since the P135 supercharger frame can hole six 18V One+ batteries, you can put up to 972Wh into it! I used six 4Ah batteries for roughly 400Wh of power.

The powerstation sports a 13.8VDC cigarette lighter socket capable of 10A and a 300Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter.

Remember, safety first. Li-On batteries can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Official RYOBI batteries have internal BMS (battery management systems) that will protect you and the batteries for many things. I don't trust the knock-offs.

With this design, you have to use similar batteries (don't mix different Ah models). The batteries must also all be charged to the same voltage before installing them in the powerstation. I would suggest only putting fully charged batteries in.
