Aus alt mach neu: Moderner Mixed Media Maltrick und Malechnik

- Starte mit einer alten Leinwand – gerne auch mit Struktur – und grundiere sie mit schwarzer Acrylfarbe.
- Bemale nun einen Grossteil der leicht angetrockneten, schwarzen Fläche mit hellblauer Acrylfarbe.
- Streue etwas Gips hinzu und verarbeite alles mit abwechselnd mit Pinsel und Spachtel.
- Mit einer Stahlbürste, einer Reissnadel oder einem anderen spitzen Gegenstand fügst du immer wieder Kratzer hinzu.
- Es folgen weitere Schichten mit im Ton passenden Acrylfarben, analog bisherigem Vorgehen. Achte darauf, dass der Untergrund nicht völlig überdeckt wird.
- Ein kleiner bunter Streifen (in meinem Fall Gelb) am Rand kann schon sehr cool aussehen.
- Mit der Kante vom Spachtel trägst du zwischen den Farbflächen schwarze Linien und Spuren auf. Zudem habe ich den Bildrand mit schwarzer Acrylfarbe betont. Dadurch, dass wir Struktur vom ursprünglichen Bild bzw. durch Hinzufügen von Gips und Flexkleber erzeugt haben, bleibt die Farbe nur an den erhöhten Stellen haften, was das Ganze Bild sehr spannend macht.
- Du kannst weitere Farbschichten mit dem Pinsel auftragen und durch Einsprühen von Wasser und Wegtupfen wieder abtragen.
- Wenn du die einzelnen Kanten der Flächen etwas betonen möchtest, kannst du Kreppband aufkleben und die Flächen wieder grob aufspachteln, Flexkleber einstreuen und mit einer Stahlbürste einarbeiten.
- Zwischendurch kannst du Kaffee einschütten und zusätzlich auch Instantkaffee in den Kaffee einstreuen. Das ergibt herrliche Stockflecken, die immer wieder durch die oberen Schichten hindurchdrücken.
- Wenn du Kohle durch eine Käsereibe reibst, erhältst du tolle kleine, schwarze Punkte, die sich super mit dem schwarzen Rand verbinden.
- Sämtliche Vorgänge kannst du beliebig wiederholen.

Turning old into new: modern mixed media painting trick and painting technique
- Start with an old canvas - preferably with texture - and prime it with black acrylic paint.
- Now paint a large part of the slightly dried black surface with light blue acrylic paint.
- Sprinkle in some plaster and work everything in with alternating brushes and palette knives.
- Keep adding scratches with a steel brush, a scriber or another pointed object.
- This is followed by further layers with acrylic paints that match the tone, similar to the previous procedure. Make sure that the background is not completely covered.
- A small colorful stripe (in my case yellow) on the edge can look very cool.
- Use the edge of the palette knife to apply black lines and traces between the colored areas. I also emphasized the edge of the picture with black acrylic paint. By creating texture from the original picture or by adding plaster and flex glue, the paint only sticks to the raised areas, which makes the whole picture very exciting.
- You can apply further layers of paint with a brush and remove them again by spraying in water and dabbing away.
- If you want to emphasize the individual edges of the surfaces a little, you can stick on masking tape and roughly fill the surfaces again, sprinkle in flex adhesive and work it in with a steel brush.
- In between, you can pour in coffee and also sprinkle instant coffee into the coffee. This results in wonderful mildew stains that push through the upper layers again and again.
- If you rub charcoal through a cheese grater, you will get great little black dots that blend perfectly with the black edge.
- You can repeat all the processes as often as you like.
