The Bitcoin ETF approval back in January marked a significant milestone in the cryptocurrency roadmap and heralded a new phase in the journey of the Grandfather of cryptos, as Bitcoin became the watchword on Wall Street.

Regular viewers here on London Real will be only too aware of the impending fiat currency collapse and the perilous state of the dollar, thanks to the increasing monetary supply and inflationary pressure it brings. This is why I’ve long championed the power of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin and decentralised finance as a means to protect your wealth.

In particular Bitcoin’s limited supply of 21 million coins and its deflationary nature imbues store-of-value properties akin to precious metals like gold, making it an attractive hedge against inflation and economic instability.

One man who has been preaching from the pulpit for some time now, right from the heart of Wall Street is today’s returning guest and my good friend, Anthony Scaramucci.

Anthony is the hugely popular commentator, author, Bitcoin advocate and investment fund manager who believes we are on the cusp of a breakthrough moment for blockchain.

The ‘Mooch’, as friends and former colleagues often refer to him, has spent most of the last 36 years front and centre on Wall Street in the dog-eat-dog world of financial investment and trading, serving his time at Goldman Sachs before rising to Vice President in the bank’s Private Wealth Management Division.

Of course for some, Anthony first appeared on the radar as then President Trump’s White House Communications Director, spending 11 days in the post before he was sacked, however it’s a mere blip in the career of one of Wall Street’s most popular figures.

He previously founded the hugely successful Oscar Capital Management before selling up and starting again, establishing what has been his legacy move, SkyBridge Capital.

SkyBridge is an investment adviser and global alternative investment manager that invests in hedge funds, private equity, real estate and cryptocurrency, which makes Anthony the perfect sparring partner when dealing with matters of the economy and the hard truths many are finally coming round to.

We’re in the midst of some seriously challenging times and as the discontent continues to grow it’s hard for investors to know what to do next. The world has changed drastically and as the paradigm shift continues, many are finding it very hard to maintain their wealth, let alone create it.

Anthony has a very bullish outlook on the future of Bitcoin and the crypto market in general, as the ecosystem continues to expand. He believes that the upcoming Bitcoin halving could see a price rise upwards of $170,000, and potentially much more depending on our start point. And if a spot Ethereum ETF finds approval, the landscape really begins to open up.

Of course with this comes the customary dance with the regulators, which has from Anthony’s perspective, up to this point been highly politicised.

“I like to tell people that on Wall Street – price gets sold, not bought. So there’s engines going now at Fidelity and engines going now at Blackrock which are selling the notion of Bitcoin.”

As Anthony points out, it remains very early days for the industry and therefore the perfect time to do your homework because FOMO is real, people, and you don’t want to be sitting there further down the line wondering what could have been.
