Growing cereus peruvianus cactus ( Peruvian Apple).

Описание к видео Growing cereus peruvianus cactus ( Peruvian Apple).

All the Peruvian Apple Cacti came from 2-3 foot cuttings and planted directly in the ground. Within one year, they bloomed and continued to do so after significant rain. They are a wonderful bee attractant that offers a huge pollen reservoir. But, the bees decimate the flowers quickly but that is not an issue for me.

And, the cacti grows fast and one can easily trim off an arm and start a new plant. I do not fertilize and once started, no watering is needed in the warmer and drier climate of San Diego. We have had an unusual winter and spring rainfall in 2023-2024.
