Once you've gotten used to how it feels to have your baby move inside of you, there may be times where you feel like there's a rhythmic movement. And some mothers get very concerned about this, and your mind naturally goes to a tremor or a seizure, and these types of activities inside the womb are very, very rare. In most cases, what that sensation is is the baby having hiccups, and you may feel this a few times a day. But you're feeling this rhythmic movement, and it's due to the fact that they're having hiccups, and their body is violently moving, just like ours does, and you feel that when they're inside of you. But the best thing to always do, if you're concerned about anything, is to talk with your OB provider about it. And after asking you more specific questions and taking their knowledge your circumstances and history into account, they can give you tailored information and advice.
