The centre has stepped up to control the situation in assam where ndfb (s) outfit unleashed terror by attacking tribal villagers in sonitpur and kokrajhar districts and killing over 50 people. Additional forces have been deployed in the affected areas to prevent further violence and all possible steps are being taken to restore peace.
