Ford F-150 Shift Cable Bushing Replacement

This video outlines the steps and method I used to replace the small plastic bushing that connects the transmission linkage cable to the gear selector. My 2006 Ford F150 FX4 crew cab all of a sudden would not shift out of park into any gear. I discovered the cable was disconnected from the gear selector and saw what was left of the disintegrated bushing inside the console. I obtained a kit from the local auto parts store and made the repair. This video covers the entire process.
