Its for calculating etccdi indices and their trend (along with stat significance) using daily climatic data of a station.
Note:
While converting from Excel to text file (Tab delimited), data should not have black spaces. Fill such missing data by -99.9
For people experiencing "Error in daynormm[(i - i1):(i + i1), ] : subscript out of bounds", Please
insert a day of missing data before and after the period

For example,
for data of period 1980-2017 your data should be adjusted as:
1979 12 31 -99.9 -99.9 -99.9
...Data...
2018 1 1 -99.9 -99.9 -99.9

Trouble installing RClimdex? Try traditional sourcing method
1. Open R and run
install.packages("climdex.pcic“)
2. Download RClimdex1.1 Source Code (zip) file from
https://github.com/ECCC-CDAS/RClimDex...
or
Direct download from
https://codeload.github.com/ECCC-CDAS...
3. Extract zip file
4. In R, Go to File - Source R Code and head over to extracted zip folder
5. Open "rclimdex1.1_131115.r"
Next time Just open R and Source above .r file to run RClimdex

There is an alternative R package called "Climpact2" which computes annual as well as monthly trends of climate extremes. You can also use its easy-to-use website version:
