A closer look at instruments used in mandolin orchestras in the early 20th Century.... Acoustic superpickers Tim May and David Harvey brought out their personal vintage Gibson collections at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on June 27, 2007, for a powerful demonstration of the beauty and enduring quality of these old treasures. In Chapter Five, May plays a 1920 Gibson K-4 Mandocello while Harvey on a 1918 Gibson K-1 Mandocello. The tune: "Whiskey Before Breakfast".
