To reach Crisis Level 4:
Squall's HP must be at or below 11.2%.
You must use the Aura ability.
This guarantees Crisis Level 4, which affects the number of Renzokuken hits Squall performs and increases the chance of executing a Finisher.

Note: There is a 50% chance that the number of Renzokuken hits will increase by 1, making the maximum possible hits 8.

After the Renzokuken sequence, Squall has a chance to perform a Finisher. The specific Finisher depends on which ones Squall has learned:

Rough Divide: 25% chance
Fated Circle: 25% chance

All of Squall's Finishers are physical attacks and can critically hit depending on his Luck. You can use Trigger with the normal Renzokuken hits, but they cannot critically hit on their own.
