Van Project with E - Track

Thank you for stopping by and watching us. Build bunk beds for the transit van. We chose to use the Haul Master E Track for creating bunk beds in the van.
We chose to line the walls with 5/8 plywood. First as it allowed for additional backing for the track rails.
We were also able to get long enough screws to go through the track rails, wood and into the steel for multiple key locations. I needed the extra strength for holding my weight and then also both of our weights in the same area. This may not be necessary for your build. But it's working great for us.
Note that when planning for this. There are large voids between the upper and lower ban structures. So having the plywood to secure the rails into was.
We also wanted to have something that was modular because we will remove these beds and strap them off to the sides when not in use.
