How to Chip Scale Models | Weathering Tutorial | Tamiya Pak 36

Описание к видео How to Chip Scale Models | Weathering Tutorial | Tamiya Pak 36

In this video, we'll check out Tamiya's classic 3.7cm Pak 36 kit & do a little chipping tutorial! If you're looking to improve your scale model chipping & weathering techniques - or if you're just looking for a little small-scale anti-tank action, you're in the right place!

The Pak 36, originally developed in 1934 by Rheinmetall, was the primary weapon of Wehrmacht Panzerjager units until it was phased out by the larger Pak 40 in 1942. The weapon saw service in nearly every theater of operation & still be found all around the world as a staple artifact in the collection of many WWII museums.

Jokingly referred to as the "Heeresanklopfgerät," or "Army Door Knocking Device" by its crews, this plucky little artillery piece served through to the final days of WWII despite it's relative obsolescence in the face of bigger & more heavily-armored allied tanks.
