Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody (Kevin Thomas cover)

This song has been covered numerous times throughout the years. It was written by Alex North and Hy Zaret for the prison movie "Unchained" back in 1955. The original was sung by vocalist Todd Duncan.

It was one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century with over 1,500 versions of the song released through the years. I became familiar with it because of the most well known version of it by The Righteous Brothers, which was recorded 10 years after the song was written.

The incredible, incomparable Bobby Hatfield took it to the stratosphere when he sung it. In fact, he got to sing the song via a coin toss. One of the greatest coin tosses in history.

I tried my best with this version. Hopefully it did it enough justice. Shoutout to the great Bill Medley as well. One of the all time greatest duos in music history.
