DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

1. Priority of Love – Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God and love others. What does this tell us about the character of God?

2. Redefining Priorities – In the story of Chris Gardner (The Pursuit of Happiness), love—not worldly achievement—was the true measure of success. How does God’s definition of success through love challenge the way you tend to measure success?

3 Pain of Love – C.S. Lewis said “to love is to be vulnerable to be hurt”. Where have you experienced the pain or cost of loving others? What fears or barriers keep you from loving the way Jesus calls us to?

4 Power to Love – The sermon emphasized that we only gain the power to love when we remember how deeply God has loved us in Christ. How does reflecting on the cross give you strength to love when it feels hard or inconvenient?

5 Growth in Love – Are you a more loving person than you were last year? How would you honestly answer that? What is one intentional step you can take this week to grow in love for God and others?
