Knockout City is now free to play until level 25, Electronic Arts and developer Velan Studios has announced.

The multiplayer dodgeball game – which released on May 21 – initially gave players a promotional block party event alongside launch, which saw the game being free until May 30 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X| S, and Nintendo Switch.

Players who missed that window now have another chance to check out the game, as another promotional event has come into effect, which allows gamers to download Knockout City and play for free until “Street Rank 25”.

Announced on the official Knockout City Twitter account, they shared: “Block Party is over, but new players to Knockout City can still start brawlin' for free!
“If your friends are just joining us, they'll be able to play for free and level up to Street Rank 25 before purchasing the game. That’s also enough game time to teach them to pass the ball.”

The game also offers crossplay multiplayer, meaning players can game with friends no matter which platform they’re on.
