Josh hit the punchline: "By the time you do, the PlayStation 6 will probably be out!" They all burst into laughter.
Tyler couldn’t resist joining in: "Who knows, maybe some aliens will take pity and hand you one!"
I could feel my face turning red. My heart was pounding.
"I’ll get one too," I muttered, my voice barely audible. "I’m just... waiting for the right time."
Their words pierced through my mind like arrows: "You’ll get it when Playstation 6 comes out…" Every syllable left a deep scar inside. I needed to find a way out of this humiliating situation.
