Larry Bird Greatest Games: 30 Points vs Bucks (1986 ECF Game 4)

Hardly a game passes when Bird does not do something extraordinary on the basketball court, such as swishing an off-balanced, three-point shot or passing between an opponent's legs. This time, he torched Milwaukee Bucks in their home arena with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course, it was Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals and Bird really wanted to sweep the Bucks.

Larry had 13 points at the half and went scoreless in the third quarter. But, fourth quarter was Larry Legend's time -- Bird outscored the Bucks by himself 17-16 in 12 minutes of basketball greatness (must see three pointers!).

In Celtics' four wins, Bird averaged 25.5 points, made 54.5% of his field-goal attempts and 95.2% of his free throws, had 9.5 rebounds and 8 assists a game. Crazy numbers.

"He's the best player ever," Milwaukee Coach Don Nelson says. "The Celtics play on a different level. Bird? Well, he's on his own level."
