Taken from the 7" single 'Rude Kinda Love/Clearly Dearly' 2004 on Invicta Hi-Fi Records. Written by Jonathan Levi. Multi-Instrumentalist Pop Levi was born in Surrey and lived in Birmingham before relocating to Liverpool to study at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. Upon releasing this track, the b-side of his debut single, Levi had previously formed Super Numeri and been a touring member of synth stalwarts Ladytron before deciding to go solo. After the release of his first two singles, his proposed third and the 'Foxwatch' album (easily as good, if not better than any of the releases available) from which this track was also intended to appear, he managed to score a contract with Ninja Tunes Records, who had already handled his previous outfit Super Numeri, where he continued to release a brace of self produced multicoloured 7-inch vinyl releases and three albums, some of which were on the Ninja subsidiary Counter Records. Levi, now based in Los Angeles, is still making and producing music under various pseudonyms (Jr. Hi and Crush_DLX) with the likes of Kimbra and The Weeknd, although little has been heard as of late...where are you? i do not own,or claim to own any copywrite regarding this recording.
