Patients with Morton's neuromas present with forefoot pain which may radiate from midfoot to toes. It is a common source of forefoot pain and is most often seen in middle-aged women than men. Other names are perineural fibomas and interdigital or intermetatarsal neuromas. They represent fibrosis around a plantar digital nerve of the foot. They most often arise between your third and fourth metatarsal heads or the second and third metatarsal heads.
