VRF Workshop

This is a recording of an April 25, 2019 Heat Pump and VRF Workshop hosted by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC). The workshop covered how heat pumps and VRF (variable refrigerant flow) systems work, their efficiency, benefits and popular applications, general comparisons to other heating and cooling technologies, options for indoor and outdoor units, and tips for choosing a designer and mechanical contractor. The recording includes a brief section on Mass Save incentives, as they were structured as of April 2019; those interested in current Mass Save incentives should check for updated information. A section on incentives from MassCEC has been deleted as those incentives are no longer available. The end of the recording features two case studies.
