F-35 Training--Last Qualifying Training Flight!

Recently my wife & I met a young woman who was undergoing flight training at Luke AFB Arizona in the F-35 Lightning fighter. With this flight she completed her training and will soon be deployed to Alaska, but not before many friendships were formed between her friends, our friends, and her family.

The F-35 is called the "Fat Amy" by the crews because unlike many contemporary fighters it is wide-bodied, designed to carry its ordnance inside the fuselage, which in turn is coated with radar-obsorbing materials.
