我們的一位朋友最近安排我們全家去一個很特別的地方，位於台北附近的雲仙樂園，兩天一夜之旅。由於我們家有9個人，我們通常很少去遊樂園和度假村，所以這次旅行對我們來說是一個特別的享受。出發時我們真的不知道會有什麼樣的期待？

雲仙樂園最初於1976年8月6日開放營業。如今是2024年，將近60年過去了，這個樂園仍然在營運！樂園的場地就像一個神秘的森林遊樂場，坐落在瀑布之上，周圍是茂密的植被，充滿了生機，然而，這個度假村彷彿時間暫停了一樣。

當我們坐空中纜車上山時，一開門，我們受到了總經理薛先生的熱情歡迎。他帶我們沿著長長的樓梯路徑緩緩上山，並在度假村的小徑上進行了一次徒步旅行解說，途中指出了不同的樹木、植物和動物。

薛先生提到，這個公園在2015年的一次嚴重颱風中被摧毀。度假村最終換了新的業主，希望能恢復到以前的輝煌。薛先生提到有計劃更新度假村的場地設備，但這些計劃已被擱置了好幾年。我不確定具體細節，但我猜想是現代環境問題和政府法規在一定程度上影響了進行維護或任何更新的範圍和速度。

目前，這個幾英畝的度假村確實需要一些工作。下了纜車後，你需要走上一條長路和幾段樓梯才能到達酒店。所以老年人或帶年幼小孩的人需要考慮這一點。下雨時（我們拜訪期間正好下雨），很多樓梯也會變得很滑。大家要特別小心步伐。

我同意一些在線評論者的觀點——這個地方需要一些翻新和維護。與此同時，它美麗的森林環境、多樣的植物群和動物群以及度假村工作人員的友好服務，使這裡有很多可以探索和享受的地方。

A friend of ours recently arranged for our family to go on a 2-day, 1-night trip a very special place near Taipei called Yun Hsien Resort. With a family of 9, we usually don’t go to amusement parks and resorts, so this was going to be a special treat. But we really didn’t know what to expect.

Yun Hsien Resort is one of Taiwan's first amusement parks, which originally opened on August 6th, 1976. Here we are in 2024, almost 60 years later, and the resort is still in operation! The resort grounds are like a mystical forest playground perched above a waterfall, surrounded by lush vegetation, teaming with life, and yet, it’s like a resort that was forgotten by time.

Our family was greeted with a warm-welcome by General Manager Charles Hsueh when we got off the cable car (gondola). He took us up the long stair path, and on a hike through the resort trails, pointing out different trees, plants, and animals along the way.

Mr. Hsueh mentioned that the park was destroyed during a severe typhoon in 2015. The resort eventually came under new ownership, with the hope of reviving it to its former glory. Mr. Hsueh mentioned that there are plans to update the resort grounds, but those plans have been placed on hold for several years. I am not sure the exact details, but I’m assuming modern-day environmental concerns, and government regulations play a part in the scope and speed at which the staff can do maintenance, or make any updates to the property.

As it currently stands, the several-acre resort is definitely in need of some work. Once you get off the gondola, you need to walk up a long path and several flights of stairs to get to the hotel. So the elderly or those with young children need to take this into consideration. Many of the stairs can also become slippery when it rains (which happened during our visit). And some of the resort's facilities and attractions are in disrepair for the reasons I mentioned above.

I agree with the sentiment of several online reviewers- this place is in need of some renovation and maintenance. And at the same time, there is much to explore and enjoy with its beautiful forest setting, diverse flora and fauna, and the friendly service of the resort workers.
